This will include leak detection, pressure management, flow management, environmental monitor products technical support. The role will report directly to the China Sales Manager. will be based in the Halma Shanghai Manufacturing Hub or Guangzhou office Basic Function and Responsibilities: 1. Technical support to distributor and key account. This will include product application and install training. 2. Technical support to sales team. 3. Key end user flow meter and other products on site install training, performing warranty repairs, maintenance services, and other application service. 4. Take a range of presentations, seminars, exhibitions and conferences of our products and capabilities to the China Water industry. 5. Collect market intelligence on competitors. Experience, Qualifications and Education: Technical application engineer will take the lead in technical support and service to the market for our products. He must be able to work autonomously, be results driven and determined to succeed. The candidate must have demonstrated accomplishments in technical support or specialist in applying these equipment. The preferred candidate will have below experience/qualifications and educational background: 1. A proven track record (> 3 years) in applying leak detection, pressure management, flow management products in water supply networks，drainage industry . or selling related equipment, hydraulic analogue software company. 2.Ability to read and utilize technical documentation written in English. 3. Ability to effectively interact with Customers to directly answer technical questions and solve technical problems 4. A strong technical background, preferably an Electrical or Electronic engineering graduate who has moved in to a technical support role. 4. Good English language skills. 5. The potential to develop with the role and potentially take on a wider regional brief. 6. Candidate experienced in using leakage detection equipment, pressure management system in NRW control have an added advantage.
